Colour

Plica is a tissue box built around a single fold, made for any bathroom, desk, bedroom, living room or café that deserves a better everyday object.

Plica is available in four colours: green, blue, red and orange. The colour comes from a powder-coated mild steel tray inside.

One heat-bent sheet of frosted acrylic diffuses that colour into a soft glow, while the weighted tray presses each tissue down for a clean, tear-free pull, every time. No fasteners, no hardware.

  • Fasteners: none
Material Notes

One sheet of frosted acrylic and one powder-coated steel tray, nothing else. The acrylic is heat-bent along a single line, so the shell has no corner joints. It diffuses the colour of the tray into a soft glow. The steel gives the tray the weight it needs to press each tissue down as you pull, and the corner radii are tuned so the tissue comes away without tearing.
Care & Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the acrylic with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive soap. Wipe the steel tray with a soft, dry cloth, and keep it dry.

Avoid Chemicals: Do not use harsh solvents, glass cleaners, or abrasive sponges, as these may dull the frosted finish or damage the powder coat.
